Falling Water is one of
our most popular teaposies. No wonder it's such a showoff! When you pour
boiling water on top of a Falling Water teaposy, it floats to the top,
and if it so chooses, bobs up and down a few times. Soon bubbles begin
to erupt until a flowery tendril unfurls, lowering a wreath of unfolding
tea leaves down, down to the bottom of your teapot. The beautiful
calendula begins to blossom into a bright burst of sunny yellow
petals.
This light
bodied tea releases a scent of sweet jasmine and displays itself
in a faint honey colored broth. Its mild taste hints of hazelnut and
sweet creamy butter. The calendula lends itself to an extended
viewing period, often lasting over a week after brew date. The
jasmine flowers are quite delicate and may need to be snipped at
some point during the long display* time.
Each teaposy brews 80 ounces of tea. Simply
pour brewed tea into a large container and gently add more boiling water
to teapot containing teaposy. Repeat this process until 80 ounces are
brewed. |
